CW, no matter how tough the aluminum case is, the airport monkeys will eventually destroy it. I've often heard of such and a couple months ago, I actually saw one that was run over by one the luggage tractors. The two Weatherby's had to be replaced. I think the tuffpaks work a bit better because they give a bit under force and then spring back into shape.
