With tears in my beer, I've edited the post to note it's a later gun. I pulled the stock and the receiver is numbered 2312 but both the bbl. and receiver are numbered 33371. I thought it was a c ring and should have checked to make sure but it's an h ring.

I did take some more pictures of the mounts showing the opposing cones.
