Nice rifle and scope. I used to want one of those scopes, thinking they would be more waterproof. I suppose they have a big field of view, not needing the field-stop of image movement scopes and the resultant black ring. Bushnell helped blend the internal and external fields by tapering the rear overhang of the ocular bell, at one stage, and wonder why they left that idea behind.

Are the B&L mounts easy to adjust and reliable?

Speaking of the Mausers having both wing and side safeties, has anyone heard of safety problems with this set up? I have heard that without the more-modern extended bolt shroud, the striker may be bumped up out of engagement with the sliding safety.
