Thanks for the advise and confirming what I thought. The idea of the wax is something I considered, but couldn't decide if it was worth trying. I will when I find some suitable wax. I don't store any brass in the belts or wallets, but do leve them in over a few day hunt. Maybe the wax will "slow" the process of corrosion.
Again, I value the input of the experienced.
