That 48" twist, although a bit fast, might be OK with round balls, but I fear slugs will probably do best. On light big game, they should work quite well, as they appear to. On heavier game, like Elk, Moose and Grizzlys, a solid slug is preferred as the hollow ones with wads attached on a spindle of plastic tend to flatten out and not penetrate.
