Ever since a leech decided to take up residence in my left ear for an hour and chewed whatever was in there i have been almost deaf in that ear,that combined with industrial deafness convinced me to get a "game ear" however i am not willing to spend the $$$ on something that i dont know anything about let alone know any crash test dummies either that have tried them.
However when i saw a "woodlands whisper " for 30 or 40 bucks i took one and use it for sitting, waiting and watching deer type hunts....i first placed it in my bad ear and turned it on and "EFF ME WOW! I heard bird songs that were impossible to hear unaided and the magpies carolling sounded as if they were inside my brain...i knew then how much hearing i had lost and this little cheapie blew me away so know i am thinking myself of a Walkers" job too.
