Thank for the explanation, now I remember Ed Hubel (12 bore From Hell, isnt it?)

Recoil was huge but very pleasant, mostly a push, not a sharp recoil.
It fells like it was at slow motion.
I have not use it on live game but I have shot to a cows head. The ball get through and burried into the groud. I could not find it.

I have plans to make a pair (a brace?) just for the fun of making and having them.
