Try it first.

Many if not most RSIs will hold MOA out of the box.

Depends what you want to do with it, but they are a handy hunting rifle pure and simple, so MOA is plenty good enough.

Otherwise, the impulsive tinkerers often bed the lug and the full barrel channel according to the other shooting forums. I wouldn't though, unless it was giving trouble as-is.

If I ever see one in 7x57 with no "dick-head damage" I'd grab it in a heart-beat.


Photos of Marrakai with a scoped bolt-rifle are rare, but I was quite impressed with this one belonging to a friend's wife, which I put to good use on a recent cull:
