Hey 475Guy,

We've all probably done that once or twice. I know I have.... and regretted it both times!

I kind of figured we had a lot of 'users' here and the responses certainly underscore that premise.

I've been talking with some friends and I'm organising a SS-only rabbit/varmint hunt for the last weekend of February which is the end of the rabbit season here.

Most of them have kids that shoot SS regularly and I expect that there may be more than one father taking a backseat to his youngster!

I'll be using my Winchester 1885 low wall equipped with a Columbia Precision tang sight and a Lyman globe up front.

Bunnies beware

Cry havoc and set loose the single shot riflemen
