By 'real' i intended whether or not made by the actual maker, though it doesnt really matter a great deal no.
I see you excluded double rifles here; Rigby retailed a lot of guns. Pre-WWII, the falling block single shots, boxlocks, and Mausers were the work of others. Sometimes Rigby stocked and finished them, but many were bought in complete.
-Can the present Rigby company help with identification then?
-if the gun has address on rib, sidelocks, etc etc, is this their own in all probability or another makers?
