Here in Aus the new Bino/rangefinder is about $1250AUD
My 1000yd model is only good to about 450yds on roos about 700yds on trees, most of the time sometimes further, have managed to get 1100yds on a house.

Maybe you should get the Lieca bino/rangefinder seen them as low as $2500USD

on USA web sites.
