Thanks for the quick reply, and all the information. It sounds like a fantastic gun. Actually better than I had hoped. My biggest concern was having enough steel for strength in the chamber of the existing bbls. Dad built two 45-70 for me on a sauer and simson frame by sleeeving the bbls. and both have done great. We have been playing with the idea of a 450 for over a year now and now that I know of yours it will be easy to talk him into going ahead with the caliber.
