yeah DG and a Single Shot is a BAD idea.

for that matter, the 416 is a "problem" round, and you need to be careful with it in africa, period. something akin to a 375H&H or 416 Rigby repeater is a better DG gun....

for that matter, a 458Win would be perfectly acceptable for the novice patient enough to get close. (range limited by ideal impact velocities of its bullets, the 375 and 416 are much more flexible in this regard and offer similar recoil)
