Some years ago I was hit in my forward support hand by a shard from a 7.62x39 bullet I fired from my AK into a steel plate. A friend had a steel core richocet and pass straight tru his forearm, in one side and out the other. Shooting some tracer during wet weather where legal will really introduce to the shooter the REALITY that bullets do not all stay put when they hit the backstop. They find their way out! Some you will hear whine, some you will not.
