I have a friend who won one of those about 8 years ago. By the time he paid the taxes, paid for his son to go with him and paid the additional trophy fees he was into it for over $80k. Not bad for a 'free hunt'.
SCIPAC has fallen on hard times this year because of it's reorganization by SCI. They are having some sort of raffle but they have alienated most of the people that bought the tickets so I don't know how it will go. They have extended the deadline from the Convention to sometime in August.
