I am currently experimenting with a Lancaster .280 Flanged Nitro Express with oval bores. My work has gone really slow and is not complete. I am still looking for that perfect regulation load. However I am experiencing very good barrel groups and expect to have great success in this endeavor.

One thing I have found is that your bullet must closely match your "groove" diameter to get a good grip in the barrel.
