I would vote for the 9.3 x 74R for PG. PG includes giraffe (4000 pounds), eland (2000 pounds), waterbuck (500 pounds), kudu (400 pounds), wildebeest (a very tough 400 pounds), etc. The 30-06 can do it all with nice broadside shots, but nice broadside shots are not always available.
