Mike,

Yes, the rules mandate that you have to single load into the chamber over here. That is why I hardly shoot my rifle in Illinois, as you point out it can be a headache with a MAuser pressing the extractor and all that. It is even worse for semi auto shooters as you can guess. Just imagine single loading a 22 lr round into a Marlin 60 with adult sized fngers...
