I read these things and thank my lucky stars that I live where we need no ranges and keep magazines full in our "truck rifles"...all legal, as long as no shell in the chamber. I find nothing wrong with a full magazine and one chambered; safeties are there for a reason.

Having seen some of the knuckleheads that show up at ranges, I do believe in a bit of control and order is necessary at those venues.
