Thanks for the replies everyone. I do shoot occasionally at two clubs in Wisconsin that allow magazines to be fully loaded and shall try to do that with my MAuser just for fun. The possibility of my hunting with my rifle is remote as Illinois, Indiana and most of Wisconsin are shotgun or muzzleloader only but it would be fun to see what happens with a few repeat strings of shots fired from a full magazine.
