I think I would be modest to say there is nothing like a bow kill. Perhaps a successful spear hunt would be right up there as you MUST be close to your game which often means MANY tense moments waiting for the right moment.

I do not know what the availability is for archery equipment in Australia but what I recommend you do is try as many bows as you can. Shoot several as each manufacturer has several models available. Go for the one that fits you the best. There are many very nice brands out there.

I shoot a Parker and a Golden Eagle. They are both excellent bows. I've killed game with both.
