I came very close, to the point of possibly flying out to look at it.. but fellow Nitro brothers saved me.. They had actualy gone and looked at the rifle for me. If the bores would have been good enough they felt the rifle could be salvaged if you could get it around 6k. they felt the bores wern't good enough to warrant this big of an outlay for a complete re-work.. Face was off enough you could see large amounts of light, and action wobbled around in your hands.. Even the sales guy I talked to over the phone with it in his hands said he wouldn't buy it. Said he wanted no dissatisfied customers.. "BUT" feelings were if you could get it at 6k, put it on face, beefed up and repaired the stocks (not replace) you would have a good working double you wouldnt have to worry about hunting with..
