Holmes:

Yes, on the Mould's the location of the peep/aperture (say, the NECG unit) is going to be closer to your sighting eye because the last cross-slots come back over the receiver. This then puts the peep unit A LOT CLOSER to your eye than it is on the factory's rear q-r scope-ring notch.
