For the range, Montana Extreme 50 BMG solvent is about the best I have used. It is best if you use it until there is no more copper on the patch. Make sure the barrel is dry with a few clean patches. If you want to run an oiled patch down there after it is dry, that is fine, but be sure to then patch all the oil out.

If this is a new rifle, you may have to deal with some break in cleaning. The more you shoot it and clean it, the less fouling you will experience. If you are still getting a lot of fouling, you may want to follow one of the published barrel break in procedures. Plan to spend a whole day at the range and bring a load of patches.

For cleaning at home, I use Wipeout.
