Thanks for the welcome Ben, Yes, it is "a trifle expensive," (gotta love English understatement)and being as I am a poor college student and my "heavy rifle" battery consists of a scoped 30-06, I wont be making any trips to Africa with any English Best guns any time soon :-/ I hope to someday afford a double (perhaps a Searcy or a Merkel, which i have fired in 470 and really enjoyed) but for now my love is an unrequited one. Bulldog, yours is indeed a lovely rifle in an interesting caliber and is made all the more interesting by its history. A really cool double with lots of character!
