You can use a bandaid on the finger that's getting wacked . When mounting the gun try NOT bringing your face DOWN to the stock, but hold your head up and bring the stock up to to your cheek. This assumes the butt will mount to your shoulder properly.

Maybe your scopes have been mounted too far forward all along?
