Buy a rubber grommet or whatever they are called from
Galazan's or one of the Shotgun retailers and place
it at the back of the trigger guard as designed.

I have also found my finger gets whacked if the stock is too short.

Lengthen the stock with a good Rubber Slip on Pad and see if that makes a difference.
