"It always amazes me at the people who assume they know what people do in other countries where they have never been! "
Now aint that a strange statement!

Well mate its because people from all walks of life write about it is the reason we know some of it,also just because a person has never been himself dosent mean his father brother, friend aint been,i have hunted with fella`s that have done the works etc except elephant maybe......they enthrall me by telling me their tales much the same as you do.......how is it we know so much about the ancient Egyptians from those pyramid days when absolutely none of us have been there?Do you want to question the people that write about that for instance.?
No i have never hunted mbogo or chui etc but i have read the works old day and modern of those that have...remember you dont have to fly to the moon to friggin` know about it,do you?

4seventy i have seen your ads for years mate and good on you for running a good ship too but one thing ALAN i do know and have hunted with them (pro guides) as mates not as a customer and have heard about this and that regarding clients, insurances, advertising, game or lack of etc etc i dont base my posts on what i think is happening its fellas like you that tell me mate.
Yep an old mate that runs a good business here rants about his SCI ads $12000 a year etc! only way you get that sort of money back is to charge for it and i do understand that for sure but that NZ canned hunt is not F%&*#@% hunting its a pro guide taking a pro client (with wealth) for a drive around a property to collect some heads for his "trophy room"
How impressed are all you African experts that have done it the hard way going to react to my post if i write about how i took 10 African species in 6 days etc about as impressed as i would be thats for sure.....holy friggin moley i wrote one time about reading in my SCI mag about a fella that shot his leopard over bait ........fine you say? me too! but the part i read about was when the guide switched the light on just about made me puke! Is this for real ?yep in some countries its ok to shoot them in the light, does this mean taking one of the top five in a light puts you on a even footing with the fellas that did it the ethical way?
What do we read about next? spotlighting lions on a zebra carcase? This is the sort of shit gets me ranting and raving ....fine, hunt the big five but give them all some respect dont reduce their status to some feral vermin like a bloody wild pig etc..
Trophy rooms around the world have animals that have been taken, bought, traded, found etc and unless they have been taken on the square forget about telling me coz blokes like us laugh about blokes like them they are only kidding themselves.
By the way there are some great back country hunts advertised in the SCI auction book (for browns, blacks, moose etc) i do believe that need a good pair of legs and good fitness to partake in .......give me that hunting anyday all i need is the extra money in my bank,or i can take the option here of a red stag hunt where they let one out of the pen to run to the feed trough so i can shoot it! Which one would you fella`s choose?
