Bulldog 563, My mistake it should be the VX 3 - 1.75x6x32
Ndumo I have looked at the Swarovski and Schmidt& Bender scopes, but at almost 3 times the price of a Leupold I cannot see that I will get such a huge benefit in their performance espesially if you hunt up close. I also prefer not to stretch my hunting times to the limits. If anything goes wrong and you must follow up an animal in the dark, you might lose it. I prefer to shoot my last shot at about a half hour to a hour before sunset
I will also prefer not to scope the rifle. My problem is that I must wear reading glasses, for the rest my eye sight is good. When I aim with open sights the rear sight gets (at the moment) slightly blurred and I fear it will worsen over time. I do not feel comfortable with this sight blurring. I supose I will have to start doing things the way my eyes are dictating.
Any thought on the recoil reducers?

Sometimes I do not express myself properly in the English language, please forgive me, I am just a boertjie.
