I recommend you get the 9,3x74R Chapuis double and scope it.
A big bore double, and a scoped 9,3 double has worked perfectly for me in Africa on two different Safaris.

The 9,3 has worked great on deer wild pigs and bears in Texas, Idaho, Montana, and Canada.
