Bollywood is the name for the film industry in India(like hollywood).The animal shot was a blackbuck in the Rajhastan province some time back.The Nawab of Pataudi,one of the maharajas was also fined and sentenced for a couple of days for shooting a deer.Mind you Pataudi is the ex captain of the Indian cricket team and an important personality.In the case of Salman Khan the sentence was very harsh for a very popular film star.Probably politics got involved and may be the fact that he is a muslim.Any way he is going to appeal and may be he gets a lesser sentence.One thing though,these sort of actions by the Indian govt.have really put a clamp on hunting.
