heym doubles are not cheap,but i like them better than the others ,one dealer in oz quoted me $25000 for a 500 nitro,a krieghoff 500 is about $12000.i have a merkel 470 which i bought new, some of the engraving on it didnt impress me ,i complained to the company ,they said it was the first complaint they ever received .its still a good rifle and would buy another one .i dont know much about chapuis,iam told they are good ,but then you have to deal with the french if something is not right,in my opinion its always best to buy new.
