Hey All, new guy here. My silhouette shooting partner has three Pedersolis and next to the Shilohs they are the best Sharps out there. I know they are rated for full house factory loads in the 45-70 models, but I think some discretion would be in order. I have run my Shiloh 40-70ss (slightly shorter case than the 405win.) to starting load pressures of the 405 win. with no problems. I believe the Pedersoli would be fine in that range.

On Sunday we were at a match and a guy there had an older Shiloh for sale in 50-90. It had a 34" barrel and nice wood. I picked it up and looked it over but it made my teeth hurt just to hold it.
