I haven't emailed them yet but you're right, often an advertised item is actually not in stock.

According to what I've read it's quite easy to ship from Australia to Canada: less paperwork than shipping to the USA. If it sells for 5219 US that works out to about 6140 CND: still a good pile of change but better than 6500 US; about 7647 CND. I wouldn't mind a little hassle and shipping/brokering etc. for that much difference. I could go and pick the thing up in person and still be ahead (maybe.)

And, hopefully, our wretched gun registry will be soon be history! Even less paperwork. Only wasted 2 billion CND on it.

I'll keep you all posted. I'm planning on a purchase this coming fall (selling the calves.)
