I am looking at a laminated stock for my winchester safari express. This stock has an aluminum bed that the action bolts directly to, eliminating the cross bolts and the need for glass bedding. The wrist area has a titanium pin inserted for strength. For the cost of having the original stock comb lowered and re-finished, this other stock option sounds promising. Any thoughts or direct experiences out there with something like this?
