Not up to sambar standard but can be quite challenging on foot when they are bedded down in the bush during daylight . Will usually spot you before you see them .

I agree a vastly different task of sneaking up from cover to roos grazing etc,a roo in the bush can at times be a hit and miss affair if his doe watchdogs are alert to danger.
Of course a lot depends on how hard the roos are hunted as if they are not at all one can nwalk right up to them.
