The Weatherby will lose nothing by being Magna-ported, and many are! Also they have no great handling qualities to be ruined by adding mercury recoil-reducers in the buttstock. Heck, you could even duct-tape a house-brick to the fore-end and not bother the aesthetics of a Weatherby!

A double .577 Nitro on the other hand has only gun-weight and stock-fit with which to manage recoil. Don't skimp on either!
