I had heard of Geoff (Sp) Slee, when a mate turned up with a Brno for me to look at. I was Impressed, as I usually run down Brno's and CZ's any chance I get. Then I was told the stock was by Mr Slee, which explained the obvious classy look. But, out in the light, the finish down near the butt pad was very uneven with almost none to almost runs.
As someone said above you get the finish you pay for. Or maybe the apprentice did the "varnishing". John L.
