What we need for the "Nitro Express" safari cocktail is something like the cartridges, double rifles, the balmy evenings of safaris.

Looking at existing recipes but with a twist to arrive at a unique combination.

Suitable for a warm balmy evening.
Something with a bit of kick.
No umbrellas, floral arrangements or girly drinks.
The colour must be right.
Smooth, not too sweet.

What sort of glass should it be served in? Long and tapered perhaps?
What colour should the result be? Like a brass case perhaps? Or gun metal?

Any thoughts?

I was going to try Mehul's first offering tonight. Lots of gin, rum, vodka, brandy, whiskey, but no OJ anywhere in the house!
