I cannot imagine the RSA could make the same error the Zim and most of the African countries made. The paid price is colossal.
Correct me if I am wrong. Since the end of the Apartheid, the RSA GNP has been divided by 4 or 5?????
The immigration is non stop and the criminal rate is rocketting.
They seize the private properties and in less than 10 years they'll starve. But as long as they'll have morons (abroad) gapping at N. Mandela, one can fear the worst for RSA.
Is Namibia in the same trouble???????

My impression from spending time in RSA and getting to know quite a lot of people there is that RSA is definatly going down the drain.

We met quite a lot of farmers that where virtually being forced off their land, and were looking into the possibilities in other countrys such as Uganda, or even away from Africa such as Australia. Some had been in serious firefights with "criminals" that attacked their farm/family. When thus they were eventually forced to sell, it was always politically connected ANC people that "just happened" to be interested in buying their property. No one else... And of course we met many other (non farming) people in RSA who were just fed up with the increasing crime and open racism of the ANC government.

Lets not forget that RSA's president; Mbeke and his other ANC stooges are Marxists. Just like Mugabe in Zim, and Pohamba in Namibia. And if you are not one of them (Black, preferrably Bantu, and a "comrade"), you are not going to get anywhere in the system, and the system will always be against you.

I personally would not put money into property in RSA or consider moving there. There are other African countries that are better than RSA in that regard IMO.

So hunt in RSA while you can, for in a decade or so, it might all be down the toilet...
