He did use a 500 nitro ,BUT apparently he also used a 505 Gibbs ! if you read it carefully i think he confused himself, maybe from writing from ''memories''he did use both!! and remarked how the 505'' rocked the elephants when it hit them in the skull '',anyway if it were me on a elephant hunt ,and i had the choice between a 416 and 505 i would still take a 505 Gibbs
