I read an article about the .404 Jeffery back in the late 60's, in "Handloader" magazine.
That was my "want" gun for African hunting for several decades. That never came to fruition, but the ballistics stuck with me.
400gr. at 2,150fps from my .458 American on a VZ34 Mauser - for almost 4 decades.
