Off base Daryl. I've had 2 Mausers where a spring change to heavier caused stiff camming such that it had to be beat open. Why? Don't know. I've read other cases as well attributed to the spring in Mausers. It was a simple question- worth it or not. I'll sort it out. Thanks for the input.
