Nicely restored indeed.
Probably finer checkering then would have been original, but I've learnt not to be too presumptive about such things!

When I first read the weight at 13 lbs I was assuming full nitro. A couple of pounds heavier than most .577 BPE: it should be a pussycat to shoot.
