the swedes makes classic stokes back in the days and with a little bit of patience you will be able to find an original stock that fits your rifle. with the chopped barrel its maybe the best option to find a slim silencer that will give you the original barrel lenght back, for hunting rifles 60 cm.

there were some firms in sweden before and after the war making hunting rifles out of surplus mauser.
you could also send your own military mausers and they sporterising them on your demand to get a "cheap deer rifle" like your americans said. irrc, also husqvarna and the carl gustav rifle factory make such conversions some times.
