must say I don't like it when they shake hands after the animal is dead like someone have a birthday or winning in the lottery

No hooting, cheering or no over the top back slapping though. Which is uncouth. I know what you mean.

Shaking hands with the PH and trackers and thanking them all is as normal and traditional as a German waidmannsheil, sprig in the deer's mouth, hat band etc. They've provided a service and also risked the danger as well. I think it's normal to shake ones hosts hand in Europe well. At least I've done so.

Also such a hunt creates adrenaline in all. Danger. Excitement. While this video is obviously partly recreated, everyone stood their ground and performed.

I see the bull stumbled after the clients shot, may have fallen anyway. The PHs shot next did ensure it was stunned to the ground. Brain missed. But it started to get up again. A tracker shooting, the PH and the client, down on the ground again. A insurance shot to the back of the head.

Exciting ele hunt and video. What "every" clients desires and also dreads, A hunt and story to remember.

I'll have to dig out my cow ele hunt raw footage one day. I've never watched it! I hated watching myself.

I looked several times at this video. Real or bluff charge? Can be difficult to tell unless the elephant stops at a few yards .... But this elephant didn't stand facing them, watching them, just turned and ran. Ears out stretched a little, which can be a bluff when the ears are spread wide. But head down. Not up. Looks pretty determined to come at them. In any case they were hunting a cull or "management" bull so if it fitted that, dropping him was a wise decision. I think it was 100% a real charge.

What do you think and why?

Exciting professional entertaining video.

I'll watch it again.
