Mike, 4198 would be the realistic choice for NfB (with backer rod or Dacron filler). 40-44% of the original Black Powder weight to start, and bullet weights equivalent in weight to original loads. Yes, period NfB Cordite loads “usually” regulated with bullets somewhat heavier than the ones used in the Black Powder loadings.
