Good to see the resurrection of Jeffery brand.

Two Mauser bolt action rifles offered with magnum Mauser action. A double square bridge in .404 Jeffery. And a rear square bridge in .500 Jeffery.

Two good cartridge offerings. I have a .404. If
I wanted to buy a .500 calibre range bolt action it would be a .500 Jeffery cartridge chambered rifle.

I was going to say it would be interesting to compare the Jeffery restart with the very successful Rigby restart a number of years ago. But noticing the price of these rifles, substantial prices, it will be a different scenario. With very small numbers built each year. Hopefully enough orders to make a restart.

Does Jeffery have a prominent front man? Hopefully they do. Hopefully we see some good marketing from W.J. Jeffery. The brand had some prominent names as historical users. Among them James Corbett and Fletcher Jamieson. Among others.

My .450 No.2 Nitro Express is a W.J. Jeffery double rifle.

It would be interesting to know who is behind the new Jeffery venture.
