I thought at first the basic unit was ok priced, compared to horrendous camper prices here. But the basic unit is just a shell, so perhaps expensive?
Irrelevant for me, they're based in the USA so not available here.
I've thought of a very similar design concept. But to fit into a 4wd traiker.
I like not using a trailer. Only once ever have. Just ac4ed is cheaper on fuel and more mobile.
But I don't like lots of camp shit attached to the vehicle as well. Would be a ffffing nuisance ever time one wants to use the vehicle. Often a base camp is established, the vehicle used to get to hunting locations or sight seeing. Dumping a setup trailer at a base camp makes more sense than having to roll up awnings, pop down tents etc.
Trailer equals greatly additional fuel costs. Less off road ability.
Solutions are old style normal tents, or what I do usually, a swag ... A solid roof pop up tent on a roof rack might beca quick and easy solution
If needing a toilet, hot water shower, shower tent, stand up tent, etc etc for the wife who refuses to camp anyway, a semi trailer truck is needed, a trailer might suffice.
I do like this design though.
Those press studs to hold those Annex walls on, look useless in a wind. It does not look bug, fly, mosquito proof at all either. The back of the tent, sleeping area has no fly screens. Some design flaws needing improvements. Maybe nonbugs where they are?
