There are three guns I'm looking to deal with.

One's the Tolley, it'd had it's wood replaced quite some time ago and the wood/metal fit is not good. I've bedded the head of the stock where the action joins it, The rifle would seem to benefit from more bedding where the screws pass through the wood, under the top action tang, and under the trigger plate. The locks could likely use some similar attention.
Of the three the Tolley needs the most attention.

The other two are my 16b double rifles. They're both in the 145 year old neighborhood and have seen some slight wood shrinkage up at the stock's head and would also likely benefit from a good bedding there as well. The Mahillon has a scalloped action, I think a professional would probabally do a nicer job on that one than I would. The shorter barreled bore rifle also needs a stock bend, it's showing a slight cast on, it'd likely fit better with a slight cast off - hence the 'stock tuning' request.

I like the Tolley for all it's character with the essentially ugly-assed wood it's in, from what it seems the replacement may well have been done 'in country' on a safari. The bore rifles both have nice wood, I'd feel much better working with them if there were better wood/metal contact.
I don't want to kick out the $3500+ on any of the three for new wood.

Hope that makes sense.
